These six tools cover the PDF jobs that come up again and again. Put a cover letter, CV and certificates into one application file, pull a signed page out of a long contract, straighten pages that were scanned sideways, or get a report under an email attachment limit. You can also gather photos of receipts into a single PDF, or save a page as an image for a slide.
Not sure which one you need? Merge PDF joins whole files, while Split PDF takes pages out or cuts a document into parts. Organize PDF works inside a single file to rotate, delete and reorder pages. Compress PDF has two levels: start with "Basic" for documents made on a computer, and switch to "Strong" for scans, bearing in mind that "Strong" makes the text unselectable. JPG to PDF builds a PDF from images on A4, US Letter or pages that fit each picture, and PDF to JPG saves pages as JPG or PNG at 72, 150 or 300 DPI. The tools also work well one after another, for example merge first, then organize, then compress.
